Chambers and Partners is a legal classification that uses editorial and research teams to evaluate lawyers and law firms worldwide, covering more than 185 jurisdictions. Widely considered as the leading directory in the legal profession, it is also one of the most difficult to enter.

Currently,  lawyer classification guides are organized by geographical area. They may cover more than one hundred practice areas and different subcategories. In addition, the range of practice areas is expanded year after year.

Law firms lists and rankings have become obligatory references for legal practice. And within these rankings, Chambers and Partners is among the first. Much of its positioning strategy is due to the experience, trajectory and values of the firm.

As of 2020, the law firm Del Castillo y Castro has been included every year since, in the Chambers Latin America at the top of its ranking as a Band 1 firm for insolvency and restructuring in Mexico. Fernando del Castillo ranked as a Band 1 lawyer in Mexican insolvency and restructuring for the fifth year in a row and Alfonso Castro was recognized as a promising lawyer in the area of capital markets for the third consecutive year.
